"We would like to thank everyone who contributed to BonillaBonita or made donations in person. Your generous support eased the financial burden associated with this tragedy. We cannot thank you enough for helping our family, and specifically Jeaneth's children, cope with this sudden loss. May God bless you all."

So, now what?
I read some really hurtful comments on the WHSV website today. I guess I'm late, they are a week and a half old. They were new to me, so it hit as quite a shock. I just don't understand how people can be so cruel. I posted something equally nasty in response, sinking to their level. I kind of feel bad about it... but at the same time, I really do not care at all.
You would think that anyone would be sympathetic towards a young woman who was brutally gunned down outside of her own home. Apparently not.
My point: Please continue to support this family with as much love and prayers as you can.

Last Week
A week ago tonight, Janet crawled into her bed for the last time. She could never have known that when she woke up in the morning, she'd see the sunrise for the last time. A week ago tonight, she had already seen two of her children for the last time, already given them the last kisses that they would ever get from their mom. A week ago tonight was the last time Janet would tuck her youngest into bed. A week ago tonight, she laid her head on her pillow for the very last time, content in the assumption that there would be many more tomorrows.
She had no idea that in a week, we'd lay her in the ground.
I've never seen a family so devastated. So many lives have been forever changed. It just goes to show you how precious and fragile life really is. Please continue to keep the Bonilla family in your prayers.

"Because we don't know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. And yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four, or five times more? Perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless..."

Janet
As an investigation is still in progress, I'm not sure what I am allowed to post or say, but I created this site, on behalf of the Bonilla Family, to raise financial contributions for Janet Bonilla's funeral costs and for her children. Please consider making a donation.
Any donations go directly to the family via PayPal. Click the "Donations" tab to make a contribution.
